A Asociación de Xóvenes Emprendedores Lucenses (AXEL) foi creada no ano 2004 coa idea de dar acubillo a todas aquelas persoas que demostrasen iniciativa emprendedora, ou ben houbesen emprendido algún proxecto empresarial.
Tal como se desprende dos estatutos fundacionais da mesma, a asociación desenvolve a súa actividade no ámbito provincial de Lugo.
